I'll be over soon to sit on it and drink a mojito.

LizAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12024345092664896.post-35257768902267380532011-06-06T09:38:55.297-05:002011-06-06T09:38:55.297-05:00I had a friend who once had that same planter/hous...I had a friend who once had that same planter/house and they messed with solutions to 'reinvent' the planter for years and everthing looked just too diy. I think it's best to not try and turn it into something it's not. Perhaps there's a simple modern metal screen that is placed in the planter and connects to the ceiling. And maybe even the right plant could climb it.

But, I love your screen idea and you have lots of great inspiration. I think it's best to remove the whole thing. Even if it means replacing the carpet. I bet there are hardwoods under that wall to wall. Also, depending on what else is happening with the house, how about painting the door a great glossy color.

www.ajbarnesonline.blogspot.comRandyhttp://www.ajbarnesonline.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12024345092664896.post-6353570753407343852011-06-06T08:30:51.079-05:002011-06-06T08:30:51.079-05:00Thanks for posting this.
