I love the idea of replacing a focus on television with something more interesting and graphic. Maybe a thinner stripe like you said? Or a slightly softer color like a charcoal or lighter gray? I agree with you that a subtle modification like that would make this an over-the-top fantastic solution.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11345558627679373156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12024345092664896.post-84863784194510141092013-02-27T08:41:44.182-06:002013-02-27T08:41:44.182-06:00This is such a neat project. We're trying to solve the same problem right now - but we already have two 2x4 canvases in the same room (a family art project to fill a big wall - it's a keeper in the room for the time being).

So we're re-purposing doors from an old cabinet. I'm heading to TC Hardware today to see if they have any different hanging options. We're thinking something like this http://www.killerbdesigns.com/blue-barn-door-how-to/.

Frankly, I like the art idea better - but we've got too much going on in the room already (and I don't have to spend any money since I already own the doors).

I can't wait to see how this looks when its finished. I agree a little higher will make a difference, but this is an UBER helpful post.

Annejdoughe3https://www.blogger.com/profile/07399972930494290494noreply@blogger.com
